Hugo Yang, founder of KGbio, sits on the sofa in his office, where a huge calligraphy of the Chinese words, “sincerity”, hangs on the wall and a white and beige bull fur covers the inky-black sofa. Mr. Yang always tells the story behind the two precious items to visitors. “I gifted the calligraphy of Sincerity to myself on my 48th birthday; it is a constant reminder to myself that I should never forget to stay true. As for the fur, every members in my family will receive one at the early age as a present. And, mine has accompanied with me throughout every ups and downs in my life journey. I experienced major turning points at the age of 8, 18, 28, 38 and 48. These experiences are embedded in the growth of KGbio company.”
